Clark Freeport was formerly a U.S. Air Force base which was transferred to the Philippine Government in 1992. At it’s peak, Clark was home to more than 15,000 permanent servicemen.

Clark is now run by Clark Development Corporation (CDC), an independent body developing the area commercially. Presently over 800 companies operate within the zone, employing over 80,000 workers.

Philexcel was the first investor in Clark and its founder, Mr. Jack Nasser, assisted the Philippine government in the base’s conversion. Occupying a prime central location, Philexcel sits adjacent to the international airport, CDC headquarters, police and fire services, telecoms, hotels and leisure resorts.
